Information and Education are crucial in the anti-doping world. This is being underlined in the revised World Anti-Doping Code that came into force on 1 January 2009, stating that “All signatories shall within their means and scope of responsibility and in cooperation with each other plan, implement, evaluate and monitor information and education programs for doping-free sport”.

Real Winner is a innovative e-learning programme and was launched in Norway by Anti-Doping Norway in 2009. Transform is the company that together with Anti-Doping Norway developed this e-learning programme.

Through Real Winner you can ensure that every athlete is offered information and education about the anti-doping work.

Real Winner is an innovative, world-wide e-learning programme for athletes, coaches, leaders and support personnel. It is an interactive and fun way for athletes and their entourage to learn more about topics they need to know about.

The first athlete who went through it was World Champion and World Cup winner in Alpine skiing Aksel Lund Svindal. Aksel expressed that he learned a lot and that he thought the programme was fun and engaging. He encourages other athletes to go through the programme as well.

Several NADOs and IFs have started to use the programme, some, after customizing the product.

While UCI was the first IF to use Real Winner, followed by IAAF, FIVB is the latest IF to have launched the programme with the following slogan: “We play it clean!”
