Research is a key activity in the fight against doping in sport.
We need to be ahead of new methods being developed for the wrong purposes. We need to contribute with new knowledge. Anti-Doping Norway wishes to support projects that can bring the anti-doping work forward, and ideally, that generate knowledge which have practical implications for our day-to-day work.
Anti-Doping Norway therefore encourages and promotes research projects and financially supports four types of scientific projects: sports physiology, sports medicine, sport law and social science.
Research projects are regularly evaluated to ensure quality and progress in this work.
